First off it prolly won't be called the 720 I believe it was called the x-box 360 b/c it has a 3 in it so if consumers were shopping around and saw a Playstation 3 and an xbox 2 they would instantly think the PS3 is better b/c it sounds newer ya know? But why are you even asking this question? The first x-box did abysmal and they still tried again with the 360, now the 360 is extremely popular, why the heck would they suddenly stop now? lol.
Maybe since the economy is crashing and every console microsofts loses billions
but make more money from games like COD and Halo,Lets just hoped MS doesn't

Maybe but the mistakes they did make are obvious. The original xbox came out too late, and the 360 was just unreliable. Those 2 things could easily be fixed with next console, and if they just can keep the AAA games flowing, sales shouldn't be a problem
