The Orange Box Question?

Does The Orange Box include Half-Life 2 and episode one as well as episode 2, team fortress, and portal? Because the box only says three games, but I thought there was 5.

And do you have to play Half-Life 1 to get the story to Half-Life 2?

Five Games. One Box. HL2, HL2E1, HL2E2, Portal, TF2.

I would recommend playing Half-Life, it's a great game and fills you in with the original Black Mesa experiment that started this whole mess. Not to mention Gordon's daring escape from the facility, the G-man, and enslaved alien races.

Yes it does include HL2, HL2 Episode 1, HL2 Episode 2 plus Team Fortress 2 and portal. Amazing value i'm currentley 3/4 of the way through HL2 so epic can't wait to finish so i can play Episode 1 and 2 which are even better. No, you don't have to have played Halflife but it will set the story really well for you about the events leading to HL2 like Black Mesa etc.
