who else thinks that super metroid would just be the best addition to the live arcade? recently we've been getting some kickass games most recenly castlevania (which i bought the second i could) and i think super metroid would be a perfect old school game to round off this plethora of great games anyelse else agree?
Nice thought, but Metroid will never go multi platform until they die out like Sega. That's not gonna happen for a while. If you want to play SM, get a Wii.
I just got a 360 and I already have a Wii and i'll be honest the 360 rocks for H.D. content; demos and video and live is amazing for games, but the Wii virtual console outdoes any retro attempt by Microsoft and I have found that their retro games are like those cheap internet games. (with the exception of street fighter and a small minority of others).
If Microsoft were to ask pretty please with a cherry on top just for Metroid I'd be disappointed. My video game fantasy, is that Nintendo and Microsoft will team up, make a system with super graphics and online abilities, and fun intuitive controls for awesome Nintendo franchises. Throw Halo on top of all that and you could have the best system seen in years!!! It's be the ultimate Sony killer. That's always a good thing. MS and Ninty! UNITE! But just like Metroid on the 360, it won't happen. But one can dream right?
It would be great but Nintendo are never gonna give one of their best games to Microsoft though, although it seems like an amazing game to add to the XBLA.
Id say that Wii is dominating at the moment
