Street Fighter IV vs. Tekken 6

Im a huge fighting game fan so 09 should be a pretty good year with sf4 tekken 6 and possibly virtua fighter 5. so im pumped

which would you rather get sf4 or tekken 6?

im gunna get both but if i had to pick one id go with sf4. this game looks super sweet and im so stoked about it gettin released and soon. sf is what drew me into the fighting genre of games and i never regreted it. although tekken 3 is one of my favorite games of all time i would side with sf.

the sf4 graphics look awesome and the new moves are sweet

I would go with Street Fighter. I've never really been a fan of Tekken. Im pretty biased. :roll:

definitely getting both, i grew up in the arcades but haven't really been into street fighter since like turbo champion addition, i really liked marvel vs. capcom 2 on dreamcast but i don't know if that counts as an sf game?

anyways i wasted more time on tekken 3 and tekken tag tourney that i probably did studying for college and i got a masters degree been outta tekken since ttt so i'm really glad to get back into both these franchises, i'm ready to own someones ass with king

btw when is tekken 6 coming out?

Probably Tekken 6, I am not a fan of SF's 6-button control scheme for punches and kicks, plus I am a practicioner of TaeKwonDo and there's a character in Tekken (Hwoarang) that uses this fighting style, you can even make him change his stance in earlier Tekkens which I think is pretty cool...

Both games will be amazing I presume!!

fighting is my fav genre but it is so hard to decide between the two the should make a tekken vs street fighter game.i like the characters better in street fighter m.bison ftw

Street Fighter engine in much better and it's always more fun.

One small thing that bothers me in Tekken 6 so far (from the videos i've seen) is that *small fire ball* when you hit the opponent, kinda weird. I say STIV for the characters and the great mechanics.Hakud0ushi

Tekken 6, street fighter 4 was just to hard to pick up, even the computer on easy spam you the same attacks, where's the fun in that.

but if i have to choose i say Street Fighter

tekken 6 have much more movements and overall content street fighter is just fighting and thats it

I bought both and everything else and I've kept sf4 and tekken 6 got returned within a week.
