well i just read in a magazine that street figher 2 was coming to xbox live arcade marketplace and that is was gonna be xbox live comparable, but it was gonna be 2000 points to buy, well if u buy points 2000 is about $25 worth of points

No, I will not buy it if it's 2000 points. I have friends to play SFII with, I don't need live. Besides, I bought the Capcom Classics compilation for $15, and it has two versions of SFII in addition to like 10 other games.

I refuse to pay 2000 MS points for any game ever! The most I will consider paying for SFII is 1000 at the very most. I am hoping they make it 800 like the other games cause that is modestly reasonable.

id pay if its well done, they might have souped it up n what not. so if its worth it ill buy it, 25 dollars is not much if it has all new features. spacemonkey7
New features like what? It's an old-school 2D fighter; what could they possibly do that would be worth $25?!? That price-point is obscene, and everybody knows it.
No, just no... 2000 is wayyyy too much. You would think that they'd be greedy and thats one hell of a price, even though its a classic, make them pay $5-10

Seeing how people are willing to pay $15 for a simple billard game, the 360 marketing team probably thought it wise to price SF2 online at 2000 MS poitns.
I got that pool game free with the 1 yr gold kit, otherwise I wouldn't even pay 400 pts for it, it's merely "adequate". To anyone thinking of buying a Live subscription, I would recommend the kit, it's a much better value. Plus when you send the $20 rebate in you've already made the extra money it costs back. Sure I already had a headset, but now I got two for 2 player/replaceable. And 200 MS pts towards Killer Instinct.
There is no way I would buy that game for that much money. All the games are pretty expensive. I only download the demos. They are very good but I'd rather spend my tight budget on real 360 games.
it'll be crazy if its that much, considering i can probably get it somewhere for like 2 bucks, if good arcade games are gunna cost that much then thats def. guna hurt sales
 Well who knows where they got there info from or if its right or wrong, but what I want to know is why cant we get other fighters or atlest a some other streetfighter game. Capcom is really beating a dead hourse even more with this one.

I really doubt that it's gonna be 2000 points.
i will bet anyone money that it would be at least that amount. compared to the live arcade games out now, sf2 is a million times better. and that stupid pool game is 1200 points which is ridiculous. i like the 360 a lot but microsoft is really trying to get money more than making great games. thats why they have the point system instead of charging people an actual price on these games.
I'm telling you, if you can buy the freaking game on a disc for $19.99, there's no way in hell that MS is gonna charge $25 just to DL it. And the guy who created this thread didn't even back his claims up, he said he read it "in a magazine". I get a lot of gaming publications & I have seen nothing about SF2 costing that much. He probably read it in Maxim or something.Â
