I was looking at the game and it said it got a 7.5 from xbox magazine. I am not surprised because i thought it would get in that range but i still think it will be a great game.
If I remember right, the goods outweigh the bad. He said you feel like a jedi bad*** and throwing guys so they can fall far to their death never gets old. But he also said the boss fights felt uninspired

well if the core gameplay is solid go for it, uninspired boss fights just means that they aren't very unique, but that doesn't mean they may not be fun :D

i agree if the gameplay is great and the kills are satisfactory, i will probably buy this

go the to star wars the force unleashed forums for xbox360...you will find the oxm review there...i posted it...terribly written review....after readin it multiple times a 7.5 doesnt fit the writing...sounds more like an 8 but go read it for yourselves...should b 1st page or 2nd page...cant miss it...im the TC of it so look 4 ma name there
i dont understand why they let people review their games before they are realeased (too human for example) it could make alot of people not want to buy the game not that 7.5 is bad
To be fair a 7.5 isn't too bad, especially for a Star Wars game that doesn't have KOTOR in the title. Besides this is the next chapter in the Star Wars saga. I only need the demo to see what system to get it for. My PS3 library is so small compared to my 360 library.

its a complete month before its release. the game they could be reviewing might not be completely done yet. most games still are in production up to two weeks before release thats why i said its too early. if there are bugs wouldnt that mean they didnt get a finished version of the game?

The game was either done when a the review was made, or they were using a review copy which will give them a very accurate assessment of the game.
Plus this is a magazine, because of time they need to get the review out in time.
It could have got a 6.5 or a 5 for that matter. After I played the demo I have decided this game is the Star Wars game I have been wanting since... forever. The controls take some practice to get perfect with and the inability to just lightsaber charge in everywhere will probably be what gets it knocked down in points...
But no crappy FPS weapons, RPG 'slowness', or useless ship flying getting in the way. Just me, my lightsaber, and the force at x10 power. I don't care who hates it or reviews it low. This is what Jedi academy should have been. Can't wait for the release date.
You just gotta wait for more reviews, thats how it always works; if you don't think you'll agree with a review wait for a website with user reviews, typically more accurate for me at least
Me personally I really am not concerned about the magazine, downloaded the demo and MAN that's the best demo I downloaded so far!!!!!!! The GAME IS FUN!!!!!!!! I mean the ways you can use the force powers is crazy you also gotta be creative. For ex. I did the force grip with a box and while moving it around I said I wonder what would happen ifI used the lightning and what do you know the box just had lightning bolts all over it the my thumb just happen to push B (force push) and needless to say I had to pause that game after that. You guys download the demo it will be worth it................

this game even cops off of god of war, with its button-press sequences to kill larger foes
the graphics are ok, the story is weak, and there is 0 customization
i would say a 7.5 is too high

You are basing the story as 'weak' and 0 customization from a demo? Or are you saying the demo is only a 6? the 7.5 is talking about the whole game... I would reply to your other comments, but if you gave the game a 6 because the demo was lacking those two things I don't even need to bother.
