Star Ocean IV, Tales of Vesp. or Lost Odyssey?

Im taking a break from Killzone 2 and Halo 3, so just wanted to play a nice long rpg.I narrowed down the list to apparently the best, with exception to sonata.

I've played them all and i'd say Lost odyssey is the best out of the bunch. Great story,great characters,Jansen is by far the funniest character,very long game,great combat,dreams are beautiful,and etc. Though Tales of vesperia is an increadibly great JRPG too ao i'd say get either of those and you'll be very satisfied for a very long time.

Loved The Last Hope and TOV,but LO was my first 360 rpg and it was and still is one hell of a ride from the first battle in disc 1 to the final battle.

go for the turn based.

i have LO and its AWESOME. my friend says star ocean is pretty good but it plays more like grandia 2 (the fights). i love the story of LO so far its one of the most intgeresting and compelling stories in an rpg that ive ever played. still the best is xenogears to me! but yeah the dreams/flashbacks are heartstring tugging tear jerkers...some of them will honestly almost make you choke upslvrraven9

Yeah Star ocean is pretty good but just not up to par with the other games in my opinion.

It has an amazing combat and the story gets great towards the middle of the second disc.

Haven't played SO:LH but while Lost Odyssey has a better story, Tales of Vesperia was a lot more fun for me. I was so sad when I had to return Tales of Vesperia, it is one of the best of the series.

VERY tough descision between Tales and Lost.

Losy Odyssey has an incredibly emotional story

But in the end I went with Tales because I loved the combat system and it too has a great story (although nowhere near as good as LO's)
