yea, man?I'm getting it. And how exactly does MW2 involve strategy? If you mean objective gametypes like search and destroy and headquarters, Halo has similar gametypes as well...

you camp and use different kinds of weapons. not nearly as much strategy as bfbc2. in halo all you do is hop towards people throwing grenades and shooting. there is no camping or strategy to it. unless you consider at the begining of the match sprinting to get the vehicles before your teamates strategy. but halo is a classic game and great for people who arent that good at videogames yet.
MW2 doesn't require strategy past 'Don't die.'im still deciding on whether to get it after all odst sucked. also the other day i played halo 3 online and i hated it. it has apsolutely no strategy at all compared to mw2 and bfbc2

BF:BC2 requires a ton of solid teamwork, but sometimes throwing strategy to the wind and simply running together as a mob does just as well.
Halo 3 was like MW2, you didn't truly have to take care of anyone but yourself all game.
Halo:Reach is probably going to be a little harder to lone wolf in thanks to the huge number of armor abilities, but the core of the Halo gameplay still works. So long as everyone is really good at not ding, you can't really lose.
Lots of team oriented new gametypes that reward clever teams with easy victories, but it willcome down to how strong each individual is, not how strong the teamwork is. A lot of people said it is that keeping the series afloat.
Halo:Reach will be fun. Anyone not getting it will just miss out.
I've gotten every single Halo game thus far and have never been disappointed. Most likely a day one buy for me.
Halo online multiplayer requires infinitely more strategy than Modern Warfare 2. The only strategy that game has is who can out-camp the other team and/or who decides to use the grenade launcher tube attachment more often. Granted, I still had fun with the multiplayer in that game but after playing both Halo 3 and Modern Warfare 2's multiplayers it's still apparent to me that Halo 3 has a superior experience even without prestige system and load-outs that Modern Warfare 2 has. Reach, on the other hand is going to have loud-outs among other things that I'm sure will make it the best LIVE multiplayer experience out there.
The beta should be great, but if it isn't then feel free to hate on me. XD
Never been a fan of the Halo franchise. I may get it down the line when I find a good deal for it but I highly doubt I'll purchase it on release day. That also depends if I like the Beta (if and when it is released to everyone even if they did not purchase ODST).

fail...watched MLG before?
I will probably get it when it comes down in price to about £15. Not a massive halo fan, but Halo 3 had a fun co-op campaign ( i bought it for £12) and not a great fan of the Halo 3 multiplayer.
It might be worth it eventually.
umm better question, who isn't? good chance its going break records again on most sales on one console.
love halo been playing since halo 1 came out. right now play it twice or so every week
i will shedueling off work 2 weeks in advance to take two days off and i be at the store at 11:59 good thing i live in EST

I'm sorry but did you just say there is absolutely no strategy compared to mw2? i can see BF but you got to be joking. mw all you do is select a set up of guns and run around the map nothing more. halo at least you gotta go pick up the power weapons, power weapons, post up, WORK FOR YOUR KILL instead one shot and so
P.S odst was a exspansion had like what year in making compared to games now days 2-3 years halo reach been in makes since halo 3 was done
I don't know if I am the only one in the world and I think I may be but I really dislike the Halo series. Now I know that there are Halo Fanboys that are going to get all upset and angry and that's ok. I will take the bashing. But I find that the gameplay is really bad and primitive.jonzilla_basicwhat does primitive gameplay even mean?

I know you have a personal hate on for me and its cool, I don't mind. But I did not find the game play really anything to brag about. It felt simple and not very intuitive. I didn't feel the Gameplay has evolved from the first one at all. I felt as if it was a PS1 game..... I found it boring. Snoozefest perhaps...I could go on and on but I am sure I am just angering you.
Halo 3 was great when I first got it but now everyone just plays on the Legendary and Mythic maps which I dont have and theres nothing really fun about it but Reach looks like it will different everytime and it seems fun. Im gonna get Reach the day it comes out and ill probably go to the Midnight Release if they have one.
I'll probably wind up buying it.
After ODST I was going to just rent it, beat it and be out $8 instead of $60. but the recent previews have brought back that old love for Halo. Everything Bungie is doing with this game, I'm liking, alot.
I'm definitely getting Reach, I wonder if they're going to have any special pre-order things like they had for ODST. Even though having SergeantJohnson in Firefight is a super minor thing to get out of a pre-order, it's still pretty cool to use him hahaha.
