So are you getting Metro 2033, and are you looking forward to it?

I am really looking forward to what will be a great game!

It may not sell too well, but I have it already pre-ordered and paid off. So I know that atleast I will get to play it and enjoy it.

I am also very glad to see that it didn't get cancelled like alot of other no name type games have been. So umm..... whew! ;)

I may rent it, but yes ive heard its short aswell..

I don't know if it is my videos lagging or what... But when I watch gameplay videos of that game, the lips don't move on characters to their dialogue... It makes me think it is like every other game made in Eastern Europe... It has Ukrainian and Russian Voiceovers/lip movements... Then when they bust it out in English... They just play the dialogue with no new facial movements...

That is the only reason I am not getting it...

50 bucks plus free avatar gear is tempting but I think I'll wait

It looks good,I got my eye on it but Im not sold on it just yet.This is a game I'll be waiting for reviews to make a purchase decision.

same here. i will wait for the reviews, and then when it gets cheaper i might get it. (as usual) but yeah it does look really cool!

where did you guys see that it is gonna be short? i remember hearing the devs say that since theres no multiplayer they were going to make the single player very substantial

It's an FPS.

Not upon release, I think im k with shooters for now, esspecially if its just a SP component.

But if I see it a year from now selling for closer to 30 bucks used, then Im sure ill pick it up.

Looks like a really cool game but I wont be buying any games for a while now. I need money :)

I'm a big fan of the STALKER series and of Fallout 3, so this is the kind of game I like. But they've only really been feeding us scraps in the previews, almost as if they're not confident in their own IP. So I'm wary, and await the critical reception with interest.

Good to see the OP's spirits are still high after getting an advance copy of Terminator: Salvation (the game) and then praising it to the heavens...

no idea maybe if i see some unique features

Yep I'm getting this and GoW3 on Tuesday, can't wait. Looks to be a solid shooter with great atmosphere.

I'm looking forward to renting it. I heard it has a 10 hour campaign, which is a little short for $60. And when developers say it has X number of hours campaign, that usually means 2-3 hours less of what they say.
