Hey guys, I joined the companions in Whiterun and they let me stay in the living quarters. What I was wondering is if you can use some type of storage container in there to safely store your stuff. I have a bunch of heavy items that I dont want to sell or get rid of, so I need a place to safely store them, and I was wondering if this would be it.

If you store your stuff in anything that's NOT your own chest in the house you own then odds are it'll probably disappear, so to answer your question, no don't store your stuff there unless you want to run the risk of losing it. Just buy a house in Whiterun, it comes with a chest inside to store all of your goods.
