I'm almost strictly an SP gamer. I don't have too many real-life friends playing online, and many online match-ups I've had weren't the greatest experience. If the 360 comes up with a good online RPG or adventure, I'd probably get a gold account again, but multiplayer FPS's get pretty boring to me.

Multiplayer can add alot to a game, Diablo 2, COD4 ect. But you have to way up the good and bad points of single player and online play.

Online you have to deal with annoying people some of the time who either won't shut up talking crap or don't play the game as intended, team killers and stuff. But online games are not as repetitive as single player games and playing humans is far more rewarding and challenging than computer AI.

Single player you can just chill out and let youself become immersed in the game world without people distracting you, but after you've finished playing you may find that there isn't a lot of reason to go back to a game unless it have lots of extras or different ways to play.

I would take a really good online game or a game with good multiplayer over a single player game, but I do love RPGs' and stuff for single player.

I think that the Call of Duty story and multiplayer is the best of all the COD's released so far.

I was never a fan of multiplayer... not until I picked up GRAW 2 when it came out. Now I love multiplayer. It adds more to the game and the multiplayer in COD4 seems to never get boring.

CoD 4 is a great example of the games I like. Short but ever so sweet SP and an awesome MP. Allrounder I guess.

Well its like this I like to play single player games like Oblivion... but I like playing singleplayer games like halo 3 where you can do Co-op more actually.. if oblivion or mass effect had anything like that it would be superb... about the multiplayer part I like it too but I like co-op more.. Im an allrounder but I like Co-op games..

and need I to say that you are biased calling Call of duty 4 is good in both... but its your opinion...

I like single player games mostly. Competitive multiplayer I could care less about, but I am finding I really do like co-op alot.

While I do enjoy the single player portion a majority of the time to multiplayer. The only exception is CoD 4 which I have loved the multiplayer beta so I can't wait until I finish on Veteran in order to start playing it.

I have to say I'm an all rounder. I really enjoy a great single player game. And as far as multiplayer, my internet connection cant handle me playing on xbl, so I play with friends when they come over to hang out.

Depends on the game, but if a game has a good storyline, I'd much rather immerse myself in the single-player.

I am also a well rounded person, although I tend to lean on multiplayer, since I share a room with my brother, and I tend to listen to the storylines of a game. So, with single player, I got my little brother spoiling all the good stuff, which can get annoying, and is part of why I didn't play good games like xenosaga or devil may cry 3.

I am an all rounder. Singleplayer is always the most important thing. But multiplayer is great fun. A good and balanced combination of those two can make the gaming experience superb. :P

I prefer single player. Only the UT games and the battlefield games on the PC have kept me on the multiplayer front for many years and hours.

And since i got a 360 last month and i got a free month gold membership then i tried multi in gears and dark zero and in both games i meet some of the worst people ive ever played with in a mutlplayer game. In both games, and in gears i played with a friend of mine and me and him were both teamkilled every round just so the others could play without us, that happend in dark zero too, is the online community on the 360 really that retarded???
