I was thinking about picking up a Fifa game today, Fifa 11 is on sale so I thought about getting that, then I learned that Fifa 12 is coming out in September. Should I wait for 12 or get 11 now?

at this stage of the games cycle its usually relatively cheap to get the current version for instance Argos have it for £24.99 and other stores for just under £20. might as well grab it now and buy 12 when it comes out.

Fifa 11 is a great game and can be picked up for under £20 but if you don't want to spend that much on a game you're only going to play til September - then just get Fifa 10 which is dirt cheap. Is is very similar to Fifa 11 and to my knowledge there are still people playing online on it. If you're only going to get one Fifa game and not buy Fifa 12 in September then I'd suggest Fifa 11 :)

I hope this helped :)

Save your money and wait a couple of months for Fifa 12. The season has finished and you won't get anymore transfer updates for playing online.

I think you should get fifa 12 in september, fifa 11 is awesome but you will more than likely want to upgrade when fifa 12 comes out.

Wait for 12 No need to get 11 when 12 is just around the corner and i am sure you have either 9-10 so its good enough to play until you can get your hands on 12 Though if you spot 11 for a really good price then i would get it.

I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to footy games, but I dug out my old Pro Evo 2008 the other weekend when I had my brother in law up, and found it bloody addictive. Having mates that love the Fifa series, is there much of a difference between the controls and mechanics of Evo to Fifa, is it worth me waiting until 2012 comes out before I dip my toe and would it really grow on me as much? Questions questions :)

I would suggest waiting for Fifa 12. No point of buying an older version if a new one is only a few months away...Well, it is not feasible from a finanancial perspective that is.
