I was wondering which one i should get for christmas. and i had a question about if the rockband guitar works on guitar hero 3 or does the guitar hero 3 guitar work on rockband? thx for the answers
Get rock band b/c it also has drums and vocals and the online multiplayer is awesome. I know the guitar hero 3 guitars work for rock band (only on 360 though) but i'm not sure it works the other way around.
Rockband is bettter if you have friends to play with and the money to spend. It's better than GH but costs a lot more for all the instruments.Otherwise get GH.
It depend on what you want. If you love guitar then go for guitar hero BY FAR. Rock band isn't nearly good as guitar hero when it comes to guitar. Rock band guitar even on expert is no where near the same class of guitar hero. Rock band for a better whole experience but if you are mainly going to play guitar then it isn't even close...Guitar hero all the way. I think they made the guitar on rock band kinda stale because they had to work on the other parts too, I can CONFIRM with the other guy who said GH 2 &3 guitars work on rock band but a rock band guitar will not work with gh. I love rock band dont get me wrong but its sort of like Jack of All Trades Master of None. i perfer Guitar Hero 3 as its more of a challenge but Rock Band is fun when you have a group of people
I gotta say Rockband is way awesome when you got at least 3 people playing. Especially if you have someone decent on vocals. I play the drums and I really get into it. If you don't think you can manage to get some friends over regularly it might not worth it but I'd have to say Rockband overall is most definetly the superior product.
