When does the update come out? and what do I do, just buy the old 360 version and it works in my Xbox one X and just downloads the update? will the disc or digital code work for the game?

Update is already out, I have the digital version, but the Disc should work too. You still have to download the game file even if you use the disc though, so expect a download even if you have the physical copy. Then you just run the game from your X and that is all.

Question, is the main game the only thing updated, or all the DLC Also? just debating on getting the main game only or the game of the year edition?

Has anybody tried a physical copy of RDR, does it work? Looking to buy the game today.

Yes, I've played though the game just recently and all works perfect with the disk. Really good stuff my friend. :D

Thank you very much, bought it anyway and it works absolutely fine. I used to have it on a PS3 and this is much better on an Xbox One with a 4K TV.

I'm amazed at how good it looks in 4K, played it all weekend and getting close to finishing it. I played this soon after finishing the incredible-looking Hellblade, and it holds up fine even today 8 years later. They did their homework on the textures, I'll say that. RDR2 will be sublime.

One of the things I'm loving about RDR is the simplicity of the open world, like you have some things to worry about but not too much overall, mostly animals running around you have to hunt, strangers and other little things to watch out for and your main missions. But overall I like how I am not overwhelmed with things to do such as in Far Cry for instance, not that I don't like that....just sometimes it's nice to dial it back a little and play a more focused adventure like Red Dead where it is just fun galloping around for hours and not necessarily because you have to go from 1 icon on the map to another and clear every single little objective.

RDR2 seems to be adding a lot more stuff but I hope it maintains this somewhat minimalist approach with its world.
