RE5 E3 impressions!!!

It will be a successful game but EVERYTHING was the same as RE4. I've never seen a game so recycled. The barrels and knife animations, in fact, basically all the animations. The same enemies just with a different skin colour. Same kicking door mechanics, same HUD effectively. I know the saying "If it aint broke, don't fix it" but christ!

I very much doubt seeing any new animations at this time. If they are prepared to show off footage at E3, then.....yeah.
Let's just take a look at some of the slight similarities that I could be bothered to get. I apologize in advance for bad RE4 quality.

RE:4 converted a lot of people onto RE.
This looks so similar to RE:4, it isn't funny. Right down to the awful turning mechanics.

I'm just hoping they listened to some of the bigger RE fans, and changed what they did wrong with RE:4.

They need to turn the scare back up, and make it harder.
The ammo was too plentiful to be Resident Evil.

The Co-Op is a great addition, though.
I'm going to love that.

Day One Purchase for me.

Will it be a hit? Yes, regardless of quality.

Is it similar to RE4? Absolutely.

Does RE5 need to implement drastic changes from RE4? Not completely. The revamped graphics engine and co-op gameplay are a good start. Throw in a better inventory system, movement while aiming, a more open environment, and a better story and I give you a trip-A release.

I hope that they sometime return the game to where it was.

It is so much more fast paced now then before.

RE5 will be great and yes it will be alot like 4

but will have just enough new stuff to please everyone

Yeah you are right but that is not the point I am looking at new features not old features like co-op that is going to be awesome. I mean yeah the game is recycled but can you look past that and look at how many enemies are coming at you at once or how fast they are this time around. If it the same as RE4 why don't you play that while everyone else is playing RE5. What I am trying to say is you will probably go buy the game too regardless of the animations.
