I assume he died because all of the others did. The Covenant dudes took over the world so he probably didn't last too long.

Are you sure about that, or is that just an assumption? I know the lab caves in but theres no mention of Jun in there while it happens. He flies off on the Pelican or whatever with the Doctor.
