I have the 4GB Xbox 360 and purchased Metal Arms: Glitch in the System so that I can play this glorious gem on my 360. When I go to the game and try to play it, it says I need a HDD or something. Microsoft linked me to one of their HDD's, but it costs way too much and I just want one for this game since I already purchased it without bothering to do some research. Is their a cheap alternative to buying an expensive hdd?

Yes, the 4GB memory unit that the slim comes with doesn't function as a hard drive and cannot be used to play original xbox games. In order to play them you need to get an official hard drive, the lowest one being 250GB and $100.

Or you can buy an original xbox. That's the cheaper option.
