Question about Black Ops Hardened Edition Zombie maps?

When you buy the hardened edition you get the WaW Zombie maps with it, yeah.

What I want to know is, do you get a code toput inon Xbox Live to unlock them or are they built into the game disc.

I don't get Xbox Live and was wondering if i should spend the extra money on the hardened edition.
