I am not sure about the need to preorder Halo 3. My guess is that plenty of Halo 3 videogames are going to be available in the release date. Do you think that the game is going to be SOLD OUT?

I pre-ordered all of my games now since I was denied from buying Dead Rising from my local Gamestop on launch day. My guess is that Halo 3 will be sold out everywhere for a good week. I would pre-order, It doesn't hurt you.

Realize that most retailers only get a handful of games and most of them fall into the already-spoken for or pre-order buckets so you will almost certainly not be able to buy games on release day without a pre-order in place. If you can wait for a week or two after the release, you can usually pick it up ...

Yeah man, think about it. At gamestop, its only $5 bucks down to pre-order and if you don't have the money then, you can pay it off when you get the game. :) Good Luck.

I never have and probably never will pre-order a game, as I always just go on release day or a few days later to either a Best Buy or a Circuit City to buy my games and I haven't had a problem yet. As for Halo 3 I can believe that it will be sold out very quickly on release day but I am not getting that game, atleast not now maybe after awhile I may.

if you really really really want halo 3, i would pre-order, most likely you will not find it unless you are very lucky on launch day

You need to pre-order Halo 3. Even if the retailer has a copy on their shelf, it's reserved to all the pre-order customers.

I preorder games all the time but not because i feel like i wont be able to get a copy on release day. I preoder games cause i have like a month or 2 to pay it off and i dont have to drop 60 bucks in one shot to get a game. I preordered H3 like 3 weeks ago with 5 bucks down, right now i have 30 bucks in with what 2 -3 weeks left? That nothing 10 bucks a week and its paid. That is the only reason i preorder anything not cause im afraid i wont be able to have a certain game at launch.. thats silly there is Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Comp USA, Circuit City, R Us hell even 7 - 11 is getting Halo 3 here in miami.

Just to make sure, Pre-Order it.
