no you do not need to use a credit card, you can buy a year membership from the store which is usually the best bet, 50 bucks in the states I think?
as for xbox 1 games, yes I believe you can same them on the hdd or memory card, can you not? can anyone confirm for sure.....as long as they are 360 compatible of course!
