I have a xbox 360 wireless adapter to connect to xbox live. For some reason, it has stopped working. There is no light on the back of the adapter. Everything is plugged in the way it should be. When I run a test to see what's wrong, it just says the 360 wireless adapter is disconnected. I tried all of the suggestions that were given to me in the more info section on the test. Can anyone PLEASE help me?

I don't know man, if you're willing to drop another $100 on one to see, then go right ahead. But me personally Id rather try everything I could before I would dish out another $100 on one.

Thanks for the tip. I thought my adapter was dead. I would get a quick red flash of light and then nothing. I figured it was dead so I tried hitting it on the ground like you did on the end a few times....As soon as I plugged it in I had a solid light. Thanks! Like you said, "Only with Microsoft!"

The MS wireless adapters have a problem where the USB plug is loose and doesn't always make a solid physical connexion. If you jiggle it around a bit and the light comes on and off that's probably the issue. Either way, call MS support at 800-4MY-XBOX before you go spending money on a new one.

LOL, same thing. My brother's wireless adapter just flashed red and turned off. I slammed it good a few times and it works again. This adapter sat unused for over a year. I thing that it is some components freezing up and the impact loosens it up.
