Please help! rrod and the new slim

I just got the rrod and have decided to give up and get the new 360 slim. Except I only had the old memory units (256 and 512 MB). No hard drive. How would I transfer the data on the old memory units to the slim? Is it possible to just plug in the memory units or do I have to do it some other way?

How is that possible if its on the internal flash memory?. Sorry to say this OP but it sounds like your screwed unless somebody else comes up with somethinggmaster456
