If you are able to get both eventually, i'd suggest Banjo tooie becuase it's cheaper for one day.
If you will only ever get one, then it's up to personal preference. I love Perfect Dark. Never played banjo though. But I hear it's good and plan to someday.
I got Perfect Dark, and I have to say, It's awesome, but If your just going to get this game for online, which is fun, then your out of luck man. The Online is pretty much dead on here, and even If you find some people, lots of them find the most overpowered weapons and kills the fun in the game. Good game, but dead online, with a few people that pretty much does all that BS in the game. I haven't tried Banjo Tooie, which looks fun, so I can't judge by that game.
