I hear all these people are trading in the normal Xbox 360 for Elites, is there really anything different with the Elite than having a bigger hard drive and being black or is it made differently or something ?

I heard the elite was built better, so it doesn't overheat like the other 360s (personally my 360 has never had any problems.)
It supports 1080i, so if your hd tv can do that, that's good. It has a 120gb harddrive, which means you'll never have to worry about filling it up.
120gb harddrive's sell for $180. Sell your 360 for like $360 or over, because the elite costs $520 (canadian prices btw)... the difference there is $180, if you sell it for more you'll only save. So you're getting a nice black headset, black controller, a black elite that apparently doesn't have the same problems as the 360, it supports higher res, and... it has the 120gb harddrive. That's what I'm doing. It's a nice upgrade, I can afford it.

The 360 supports 1080p through component and VGA on the premium and core models, and 1080p through HDMI + the others on the Elite models.
