Dead Rising seems to be a really polarizing game, many people think its about the best game they ever played. Others think its trash. What do you guys think, and if you're going to bash it be honest as to why.

I think it's great, brilliant graphics and gameplay, soooo fun gunning down hundred of zombies. Yes, it has it's faults like why the hell can't i run and gun, but oh well, the humour more than makes up for that.

Good game, humor and slicing and dicing hundreds of zombies for however long your heart desires. Beating down a zombie with a toy has never felt better. Also, throwing cds and slicing their heads off is fun too :D

I enjoy the game as a whole; meaning there are parts of it that I dislike. But overall, its a very creative open world with an original idea. I haven't seen any other games that resembles this one. The graphics are decent, in terms of having so many zombies on the screen at once. And the amounts of things and extra tid bits you can do/find are fun to collect- e.g. trying on clothes (the yellow head from the mega man games :P! )

It is a very smart idea but its execution was a bit flawed especially in the text and tedious escorts with the the bad survivor ai.

I thought this game was good, nothing special...but the first time through it's defitnitely a heluva lot of fun!

very fun game.
i never really got into it until i was at level 30 or so and had good amount of health and skills.
then it kicked ass. genocide was a good path to take ;)

Well i would say that it is pretty boring and gets old very fast but i have only played the demo, so my opinion is invalid.

Good game, personally would only change 2 things - optional 1st person view(when have guns) and multiplayer/coop mode

I think it's a brilliant game and very fun. Killing hundreds of zombies in a large variety of ways is bloody enjoyable.

amzing game....I would recommend to anyone..also a great starter game but the text can be small at times but who plays a 360 on a small tv(18inch or smaller)...you can buy a $400 system and can't go buy a nice tv with it..so humbug

i just got it but im getin frustrated to im playing along the game with a walkthrough...it becomes prety confusing. also that save system is sooooooooo dum!!!!!!!!!!!! you should be able to like stay in stores when you want to stop playing

I liked it, but some pretty major flaws kinda ruined it for me:

-Gameplay tips are too small, I couldn't read them on my SDTV so I didn't really know what to do (It was a rental so I couldn't read the manual)

-Save system was horrible

-What's up with weapons breaking after 10 hits? I understand the idea of having weapons wear out, but things broke way too soon in this game. I remember ending up in the theater once and I could get out because I had used everything that could possibly be used as a weapon in there.

-A little too open-ended. I wasn't sure what I had to do and what was optional so I was lost some of the time.

I think if they fixed those things (especially the breaking weapons) I would have absolutely loved this game. When I had a weapon and I was just bashing zombies I had a great time.

Well if weapons lasted a long time time then the game would get to easy I prefer having to hit a zombie several times to kill it rather than a one hit kill.Also you do know you can get books weapons last alot longer right?One last thing is on the time thing you know you only had to do the cases that were related to the story and scoops were meant for people to do on second go through.

This game is one of my favorites all time. It has pretty good graphics, it's unlike any game i've played before, and it's fun killing as many zombies as you can (can you say chainsaws anyone?) i hope with the next one they include co-op play and enough to features to make it different then the first one though

Dead Rising is a great game. If you want to give the game a fair shot, you need to be patient. Once you discover the rhythm of the game, there's nothing you won't be able to do.

I honestly think it is one of my top ten games, it has very original gameplay, a fantastic atmosphere, and well its fun.

However, after you reach the 3 day ending it gets extremely hard. I have yet to get the true ending.

Killing zombies. What more could you want? Only problem was that the text was small and the survivors werent the brightest people youll ever met.

i downloaded the demo and i love just playing around and killing zombies but that's about it. i don't know if i can really get into the game with the whole story and everything. so for right now the demo is good enough for me.

I just wrote a review and while I can live with most of the cons I listed, the one I would have loved to see was co-op multiplayer (for up to 8 players).
