Nov 2014 free GwG games. One new game for Xbone again.

For the month of November, Xbox Live Gold members can look forward to three new free games on Xbox One and Xbox 360 [one for Xbone, two for 360].

Xbone:

November we only get one new game for Xbone: Volgarr the Viking (76/100 metascore).

Disappointed with the ONE NEW XBONE game for the month...again. I'm not sure what's up with that, this is the fourth month they've done only delivered one new GWG Xbone game. It is supposed to be two new GwG games a month when they announced the service in June. They should definitely try to crank it up. November's single title announced so far, "Volgarr", will mark the 8th free GwG game for free on Xbone's Xbox Live GWG Service.

Volgarr is decent enough at a 76/100. It was a kickstarted game and it released last year in 2013. For those interested, I placed the link to the metascore of Volgarr.

360:

November 1st, we'll get 2008's Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise GWG-free for Xbox Live Gold 360 members through November 15th.

November 16th, we can download 2009's Red Faction: Guerrilla for free through November 30th.

I've given up on GwG for Xbone...

I really thought they were saving up for a great November and December, end of the year extravaganza. Maybe next month for Xmas...

It does seem unusual that Crimson Dragon appears to be staying in again, although if the reviews about the game being heavy on the micro transaction front are true, then perhaps this offers an insight into why it is still being pushed. Hopefully the next update will bring some fresh games into the mixture. That being said, the other free game on offer for the coming month seems pretty cool so I am happy with that.

To be fair though the Xbox One doesn't have as many indie games as the PS4 currently does. So I think this is the reason MS is only releasing one game per month. Least one good thing is that they haven't gave us that crappy cycle game. lol

Well, I really liked Super Time Force, Max: Curse of the Brotherhood and Halo: Spartan Assault, anyway. I generally agree with you otherwise, though.

Yeah there were a couple of good ones... but they have been few & far between.

Hey, Volgarr the Viking is an awesome oldschool sidescroller. Don't knock it. Man.
