So I got the prompt for the dashboard update, downloaded it and installed the new dash and now I can't sign into Xbox LIVE. Every time I try it comes up saying I need to test my connection and when I do that it fails at Xbox LIVE, so it's something on their end, I think. Anybody know anything about this?
I'm getting the same thing. Luckily I'm playing Skyrim and already have all of the updates so it really doesn't matter right now. I hope they get it sorted out because everything was fine until this update so I know it's on their end.
Yeah I had this problem as well. I kept hitting "connect to xbox live" though and eventually it brought up a new contract which I then had to agree to. So just keep trying to connect.
Hey i had the same issue and fixed it. I went to my connection settings and tested the connection to xbox live and the update prompt will pop again just accept it and ittl download. Hope this helps you guys out
Same thing here. I checked out Xbox.com and there is a Service Alert stating that some users may not be able to connect to XBL. Almost every time I try clickingon a link on the site I get an error message.

it connected me but after i downloaded the netflix app it disconnected me off xbox live and now can't connect to it
Saved me from creating a topic this was happening as the update appeared and as it updated and now with the new dashboard I'm connected but get disconnected when I load a game.

hahahaha dang, same here, i havent played skyrim in a bit cause of mw3 and bf3, but i just picked skyrim back up yesterday and got sucked right back in. just in time too lol. :D
but yes, im having the same issue, live worked for a while, and as of now nothing.
i can connect on to my games and dashboard but i cant go on to zune and i wanted to rent Halo Legends but when i go to zune it pops up with "Offline Zune" and then when i press ok it signs me out of xbox live and i cant rent stuff and that but when i reconnect it tells me to test connection when i do i sign in to xbox live some reason when i exit the program i tried again but same
