Next gen xbox revealed at e3 2009?

I was wondering if you all think microsoft will unveil their next system at this years e3. If they dont reveal it this year they will most likely unveil it next year.

I would rather for them to announce some 360 exclusives.

i hope they dont till e3 2010 or sumthin i still think the 360 has alot of life left in itflipguy

No way will it be unveiled this year. Maybe next year, but the 360 is not even 4 years old, it's still way too young to be thrown by the wayside. I don't see it being even realeased for a couple more years. Like 3.

but , the fact that sony and ms have said they are aiming for a 10 yr life cycle, ,only means one thing, ,

no there wont be an revealing of a new xbox or a ps at e3,

the only one that is close to an unvieling-not officailly dating ,, this year would be wii 2 , ,as that has been confirmed to be in development and so far its the only one that would benifit it ,

we all know ms, all to well , they are to busy paying millions in repiars to be workig on another xbox , not to mention a recession lol

Agreed. It's too early for the next gen console. Most likely they'll talk about their Prime Time release among other things.

I don't want the next Microsoft console to come out for awhile.

They'd be idiots to show anything...ANYTHING about it at E3 It would just take the spotlight away from the 360...I GARUANTEE YOU that if they showed the next xbox all anyone would be able to think of is the "NEXT XBOX", plus they'd be revealing their ideas too early, Sony and Nintendo would get a wiff at it and innovate.:(

I think unveiling one now would be a little too early. Next year wouldn't suprise me, and then another year or two until its release. 2012 seems like it will be the year of the next generation

No ACTUALLY it's 3 years old going on 4. It was released in Oct of '05. And the Wii/PS3 are 2 going on 3.

I wonder if they will announce any things they are going to do with the dashboard and new features and stuff like that and can't wait to see what the xbox 360 exclusives are.

I doubt there will be a new next-gen console until the economy starts getting better. Though i doubt it will be this soon maybe next E3 or the E3 after that.

Common sense says that we won't see or hear about a new Xbox this year.

I think they should wait at LEAST two more years before the next xbox console.

i think the 360 still has a good 2 years left in it, we'll prolly see the next xbox christmas time 2011 maybe 2012

Microsoft is having some money problems right now. Having exclusives is hard enough already.

Why is everyone saying 2010? It's not going to be even an announcement until at LEAST 2012. They've said it before and they will say it again. The current-gen hardware is too good to move on from.shaddix55

Yea I think we have a while to wait with things the way they are in the economy I doubt Sony or MS are thinking about another console. Perfect time for nintendo to jump in with all that Wii money and release a new console. I still love Nintendos older titles mario kart,mario,zelda,metriod, a good next gen release of all of those would be awesome.
