I had an xboxlive account on my old 360. Im going to pick up an ELITE today. Is there a way to reclaim my old account with all my achievements and stuff?

Choose Account Recovery on the Xbox Live blade on the dashboard.

Yes. Just press 'Retrieve Gamertag' when it's hooked up to Live. You can do this at any 360 console.
