My first generation 360 finally gave out on me after a good 4 year run. I'm looking to buy a newer generation, but can't find one that fits my space requirments and price range. Basically, I need an xbox with a bigger harddrive than 4GB, but not quite as big as 250GB. Is that possible, or am I just boned? Thank you in advance.

you can get a 4gb and plug a external hard drive or a USB stick but the thing is if you were to get a example 2TB hard drive it will only use 16gb of it so just get a usb stick 16gb

^ that would just look silly but I suppose it works that way. I was in the same boat as you awhile back but I just got the 4gb and bought 2 16gb flashdrives. It works for me

I'd personally just get the 250gb one and use it for game installs (faster loading/less noise). This way you don't really have to worry about how much space you have on your HDD. My advice would be to wait until black friday though, last years black friday xbox 360 deal at Best Buy was amazing.

I bought the 250gb model and remember being floored by the price (the 100gb? Ps3 was only $100 if I remember correctly). I can't remember exactly but I think I got the xbox 360s 250gb + kinect add on for $300 total?

hey, i went from a day 1 20gb pro to a 250gb slim the first Xmas they came out. boo hoo for too much space, its IS hadny for having a dozen games on the HDD, so if uwant to swap games after playing a few u dont have to reinstall them for quiter play time.

You might as well just buy the 250GB, you'll find a use for the extra space eventually.

Buy slim and use your old hardrive by takiking out of the casing. Use some tape at the top to be able to pull it out later and stick someyhing in bewtween the xbox and the harddrive so its not loose in there.

just buy the 250 gb, the unnoficial external harddrives u find on amazon are knockoffs and cant play certain arcade games. they are also prone to issues with updates. quit being cheap or save bro, its not worth it to buy 4gb then pay for a defective hard drive. and the price for the 16 gig usb is ridiculous u might as well just fork up more and get a 250 gb.
