the new mortal kombat game (mortal kombat vs. dc universe) is rated t. this doesn't sound like the mortal kombat that we've come to know and love. does anyone know why they toned it down?
i think it is stupid that mortal kombat is going to be fighting dc characters, this is why it is probably rated teen because dc would not want there superheros to get ripped to pieces in the way that mortal kombat has been known to do with it's charaters...yeah they got fatalities in this game, but it is not going to be near as gory as most fans will want it to be, thus not living up to the mortal kombat we all know and love...
they rated it teen because dc didn't want say superman having his head ripped off or whatever there will still be finishing moves but they won't be gory

They wanted more people to be able to play it. it's still a violent game, just not as much as previous MKs. it's looking quite good actually (to me).
it's only T because they don't want DC characters getting ripped to bits. however, there will still be blood. and there are fatalities for the MK people and DC villians. only BRUTALITIES for DC HEROES. so it should be rated M
