All depends on what Genre you like... AA was good, didnt like Arkham City though. I would suggest Mass Effect. Most other people are going to tell you Halo and Gears of war... Gears of war 1 was great.. .thought the rest were boring... Mass effect would be my suggestion
Halo Reach (in fact, all Halo games are great, but CE has pretty dated campaign (that is still awesome for people who appreciate old designs), Halo 2's campaign downright sucked) Gear of War seires Forza series Red Dead Redemption Assassin's Creed series Sleeping Dogs The Witcher 2 Bayonetta and Vanquish for something truly "intense". There just isn't a game that is more intense than those two.

WOW you guys are awesome. Thank you SO much for all of these suggestions!! Seriously, they are going to keep me busy for a while haha. I LOVE gorey horror type games and fantasy. I feel like I need more practice before I start playing shooter games because I tried to play COD and I really sucked. Next up is Red Dead Redemption! What's Skyrim about? Is it like a RPG? I like games where you actually combat instead of picking the moves before hand. Sorry for all of the questions, I feel like an idiot but I really want to start getting more into gaming! I would recommend: - Gears of War (Any game in the series) - Call of Duty (I would prefer CoD 4) - Halo (Any game in the series except for Halo Wars) - Elder Scrolls (Oblivion or Skyrim, you'll be even more lucky if you manage to pick up a copy of Morrowind) - Fallout (I suggest you get the third one first rather than New Vegas) - GTA (Play the fourth one, might want to pre-order the fifth one) Have fun!
get condemned criminal origins if you want a scary game. i bought this game when xbox 360 first came out. it is a hidden hit for me as well as everyone else i have introduced it too. but  be prepared to play during the day lolÂ

Dead Space is definitely a good one. It scared the hell out of me my first time through just like RE4 did. I've been hearing a lot about Dead Space too. I'll make sure to add that one to the list!

As far as superheroes, but Batman Arkham Asylum and Batman Arkham City in fantasy you got Mass Effect, Final Fantasy and Dragon Age don't know about horror though that's what i can recomend

Now I'm switching between Arkham City and Red Dead Redemption. I'll check out those fantasy ones for sure. I love TV shows like Game of Thrones but the video game was awful!
I actually bought Bioshock 2 but I think it was a mistake with starting with the second one cause I have no idea what's going on. I'm definitely gonna pick up the first though. I love how creepy it is.

I would second this. The nice thing about Skyrim is that you can take it at your own pace. I've been playing it for a month and I've not touched the 'main quest' for a couple of weeks. Genuinely one of the best games I've ever played.

Go with the first Dead Space game. Maybe the second if you liked the first. Make sure you play it alone, in the dark. Also get Alan Wake, Fallout 3 (New Vegas had more content, but 3 had a much better story and a better feel to it). Get Splinter Cell: Conviction. Had the best SC story line so far (can't wait for Blacklist). And if you have LIVE, GET BATTLEFIELD 3. I CANNOT STRESS THAT ENOUGH.
