New Dash Update

I have not downloaded the update as yet. Just wondering if anybody has an inkling of when it becomes inevitable. Guessing future games will be tied into it, that right?

I prefer the new dash to the old one. Much cleaner/organized, sleeker looking. Upgrading is more of a benefit in my opinion, couldn't imagine why someone would want to avoid it. Stop resisting and join us.

Figured it would be best to wait until MS really iron out any issues. Has the update borked any save games?

Well, had to finally download the update last night. Now do we as the user have to change the appearence/skin? Looks like they were inspired by W3.1, because it looks shite. Quicker options yes, but just as before really. MS has a superb marketing dept lol.

It doesn't boot up near as fast in my experience, and that's really my only complaint.

Tbh, I have not noticed really. I cold boot and leave it for a few minutes and still watch telly. The bit that concerns me a little is when the screen goes blank for a moment. Keep thinking that the console is liable to go tits up at any moment. Irrational yeah, but it reminds me of Vista.
