i have a new xbox 360 slim. I am trying to figure out the best display setting for my xbox and tv. My tv is a 32 inch bravia, with a native resolution of 1360 X 768. I thought i would just select the 720p setting, and that would be it. But then i see the native resolution of my tv is listed as an option. I think it is listed because i am connected through hdmi. But now i am unsure of what option to select for the best resolution.

Then i see an option for hdmi color space, what does this even mean? i see the options of auto, source, RGB, YCbCr709, and YCbCr601...so which would be the best option for my tv, and xbox?

my tv can display 1080p, but i think it just scales them image down....so i need a little help....which is the best displace, and hdmi color space, andreference level?

Help would be appreciated

I have the same question. My tv goes up to 720p, should I set my xbox to that or should I set it to 1080p?

I believe if you set it to 1080p, you'll get a display error on your TV.

The best thing to do is select "Optimal Settings" in the Xbox 360's System Settings (It may have a sligthly different name). In using that option it will configure and optimize the right set ups for you or you could play around with the resoultions and select what appeals to your eyes the best.
