my xbox 360 become so noisy..why is that?

i wanted to watch some dvd

so i watch dr seuss..but after i play the movie.my xbox 360 started to get so noisy..

i take out the dvd from the xbox..no noise..

i thought that maybe the dvd was corrupted,so i try kungfu panda..that works fine

then i try to watch superhero movie,then the noise started again

still have the same prob

i watched at my computer..it works fine

my fifa08 dics has been scratch..its still works.

you prob have a older xbox 360.. they are alittle louder than the newer ones... also it could be dust in the system.

It could be that the dvd holds alot of information or something I'm not exactly sure.

I have had it a lot on different dvd drives in either consoles or pcs etc. some discs work in the drive but they become noisy when that disc is being played.

it could be the disc isnt balanced or is slightly off centre and the particular drive you are playing it in doesnt correct the problem but plays it.

if you play other discs fine then the problem is with the disc. more of a compability issue with the disc and the drive.

i did not use any fan..

some of the dvd works,some of it not..

hopefully im not getting a 3rod..i just bought this xbox on april..still new

when i played a game,the xbox become noisy too,but not as noisy as this

i don't think its going to be 3rod.(hopefully not) . at least until gears of wars 2 release

Do your xbox make a loud scratching noise or a loud fan kind of noise?

My 360 sounds like a Semi-Truck. Besides noise, never had a problem out of it. You're fine, until it starts heavily freezing and causing you problems. Most of the time you can see RROD coming.

Is your copy of Kung Fu Panda a pirate copy...? I wasn't aware that had actually gone to DVD, and amazon.com seems to agree with me.kamikaze_pigmy

yes..its a pirate..my country has a lot of pirate.although actually it is illegal in my country but they still sell it.since i was 8 if im not mistaken,since i get ps1..until now!there still a lot of pirate.i love piracy because original dvd on my country is too expensive because of the tax..

PIRATED DVD - this is one of the reason i choose xbox than ps3 because ps3 has no blu ray pirate :)

i buy my xbox for rm1650(malaysian currency).i get a halo3 limited edition(its in white premium,its just a ori game) with 2 wireless controllers,12 pirated game,2 ori game,internet cable, earphone,free batteries for the controllers.

i try my superhero movie(also a pirate) it works fine but it was not really clear,

so i borrow from my friend(superhero movie too)..it make noise..it works fine on pc

the sounds.is..like..i don't know how to tell..

the sounds is the same as u play a game .its just more louder.i think its 3x louder.im a bit scared now

but my xbox has not yet getting a 3rod..i just played fifa08
