Everything else is fine, but my xbox live blade stayed that same after the update. Theres no "Inside Xbox" button, and the freinds/messages button has not been combined into one. Can anyone help?

And as far as Omali goes, I'm sure the connection issues and lack of Inside Xbox are related. In other words, he didn't really get the update because of connection issues, or the Inside Xbox button hides without a connection.
Don't get upset this is a Microsoft software update. Vista anyone? I'm sure they will get around to solving your problems in about 3 months. I'm just glad this crap hasn't happened to me on my xbox because I can't say the same about my PC.
Thanks everyone. Turns out some of my mates had their profiles set to United Kingdom. I find it wierd how if you just put UK or US as your locale when your registering, you can get away with all of the good updates =] Oh well, guess ill have to wait untill next year. Thanks once again for clarifying this for me.
I didn't get it either ... but I'm not too bumbed out about it, since it isn't the most necessary feature. I just assumed it was a US and/or UK only thing, and not little ol' Canada.
