My 360 is not turning on?

I turned off my 360 and tried to turn it back on about 2 minutes later but it wont turn on. I didn't get the 3 red lights. What is happening.

my cousin said there weren't any red lights. I wasnt in my room when my 360 wasn't working

Are you sure it's not something simple like the power cord being loose?
