MW2, can I still get it day one?

Stupidly, I didn't preorder the game. I thought this was no big deal, but my friend laughed at me and told me I'd never be able to get it tuesday without a preorder. Is it possible to preorder now, or just walk in and pick it up on tuesday? Or are stores really all sold out already? Are there any stores guaranteed to have it?

I basically just want to know what my best bet of getting it on day one is.

i bet you can find it day one. just call every video game store that day. one of them (if your town is big enough) will have several copies. Even Blockbuster will sell the game. GTA IV was supposed to sell out, but stores had extra copies everywhere and that game got a 10!

I've already looked into this for a friend & 3 out of 4 local Wal-Marts said they will have plenty available at midnight.

Go to Fred Meyers! No one goes there to buy games and they always get a few copies in.

If you live near any game retailer or electronic stores you will find one day 1 for sure. My store has a lot of reservations for it but they sent us 300+ extra copies for walk ins.

codmw2 is going be big and IF knows this before hand they will have enough copies to go around. it not like a game just got suddenly huge just from videos these kind of game i would pre order.

Go somewhere there is stores in small radius of each other. I live in Cincinnati, oh and quite huge city and there's one street has toy's r us, best buy. target 24 hours , two walmarts (super one and a reg.) both 24hours, 3 game-stops(yes three lol one is in mall), a game crazy, eb games and new game store not sure what the name is both in mall. and all that is in about 5 or so miles of each other. if all those places sold out in first day i will laugh.

also stores get games for pre orders then gets extra copies for walk ins those can't be pre ordered
