Multiplayer Bots Yes or No?

Do you think more games should have the option of bots in multiplayer ?

I think it would be sweet if games like call of duty and halo had bots like in Gears Of War 2

No.. I hate Bots.. most!!

Timesplitters serie was amazing even if the bots were stupid it was still good fun. ;p

PDZ was really fun with the bots. i wish more games had bots.

i like bots as an extra option. Play GOW2 with five people, private wingman, with insane bots, its good times

It pisses me off that most devs leave this out. Split-screen multiplayer is always more fun with bots. It's one of the reasons I love Gears 2 so much.

Bots are good, if they're smart. Like the GoW2 bots are not that smart, i know it must be extremely hard to create a bot that is tactical, but a good example is the SSBB bots.

Of course! In five years, no one is going to play COD4, but if I want to, I can't. :(

Seriously, it gives FPSs with multiplayer more replay value. Have any of you played Perfect Dark on the N64, it had the best bots ever since they had different A.I, abilities. And that game is coming to XBLA this winter, look at teh comparision screen shots.

Yeah i wish they would have that option in games. Im not big playing online anymore so i would like to see that opiton put in the games.

yes i think all games should have bots they have many uses. Like at times when you cant fill a room with people or when someone quits early. Maybe you just feel like playing some mp by yourself. They should just be in all games.

On topic, I love having the option to have bots. If you are ever feel like playing but don't have enough time to play a full game just make one with bots. If you ever just want to practice some shooting at moving targets use bots. If Xbox live is down or your Internet is down for whatever reason use bots. Ect, ect, you get my drift. If anything I don't know why people wouldn't want to have the option, seeing as you don't have to play the bots if you don't want to.

It really depends on the game

The Original Unreal Tournament had the best bots i have seen.

But games like Gears of War 2 they dissapointed me.

Yes,definitely.The Unreal Tournament/Unreal Championship franchise is a near perfect example of great bots.I wish more games had bots as smart as them.

A solution to tainted kill streaks is to only make bots available offline, so the MLG kids can't abuse the CPU lol.:P

I agree. If I just want to play with a friend, it's kind of lame as hell wandering around for 10 minutes trying to find someone so you can get a single kill in, then repeat the entire process.

I liked having bots in the 64 version of Super Smash Bros. They were easy to beat, but it gave you more stuff to smack around :)

If a game doesn't have bots in it than I won't complain. They don't really need them. But if a game does have it than it's all the more beneficial to that game. So why not? I say go for the bots! Besides, it's good to have bots fill in the game sometimes when you just feel like having a game with a few friends and don't want to fill in the spot with random people or only be like three dudes running around on a huge map.

i voted yes for bots and here's why. in a co-op game like gears of war 2 you and your team fight against bots. they do serve a purpose no matter how dumb they are.

i loved this game and the sims were awesome on it, great to hear its coming to xbl. and yes i reckon there should always be an option for bots

Bots are sweet. I loved palying killzone and the old perfect dark with bots. Now bots would be much better.
