Most Powerful Sniper (Borderlands)

Question, whats the most powerful sniper you've found in the game?

So far i've came across the GGN30 Rolling Sniper which does 286 damage, but only has a 0.4 fire rate.

My favorite sniper i've found is the GGN Thunder, which does 189 damage, is there an upgraded version of this gun that deals out 300+?

Elephent Gun, has something like 237 dmg and 1.0 fire rate. I'm not sure if those numbers are right.

I thought you could make your own guns in this game and there were 800 billion possible combinations? Why not just make a sniper rifle that has what you are looking for...?

So i've already came across the most powerful one in the game? I found the one that does 289 damage right after I left Freystone, the first container I looked in had that and a shotgun my friend took.

I thought you could make your own guns in this game and there were 800 billion possible combinations? Why not just make a sniper rifle that has what you are looking for...?

You can't make your own. It was actually the best choice for the game.

Yup. I love hunting for a better shotgun or pistol and then testing it out. Adds to the fun of the game.

The best one I've found is a level 21 purple S&S that does 224 damage with a 2.4 fire rate. I've found more powerful sniper rifles but I like to spam shots with this one and I like the scope. There are better orange sniper rifles though, I saw one in a vending machine but I couldn't afford it at the time. There are some sniper rifles that do 700 plus damage but they're around level 50. Considering he said it's level 48, you probably won't see it for awhile.

Probably towards the end of the game or during your second playthrough. I'm level 32 and I find a lot of good sniper class mods at the health vending machines.

That sniper diddnt even have a scope >.< Heres my current sniper: GGNS/V2 Fearsome Sniper DMG: 325 Accuracy: 98.1 Fire Rate: 1 2.4x Zoom, +42% Fire Rate, +150 Crit DMG

I have a sniper that does 305 with 2x Explosion damage, 6 round clip and decent rate of fire.

ive found multiple liquid snipers and they are my favorite of course you keep finding better ones as you lvl up but the are always the fastest and carry a good amount of damage. They beat powerful slow sniper rifles hands down.

Yeah, the elephant gun didn't have a scope and it's fire rate was pretty slow. I didn't find it very useful.

I have a level 26 Liquid thunder sniper that does 300+ damage, not sure about the first part of the name, it could be VG not sure. And the damage is almost 400 too. Not sure of the top of my head lol.

I have a sniper that does 386 damage, 97.7 accuracy, and 2.4 rate of fire.

It holds 12 rounds at a time.

I just found one that 486 damage. :D I'm still looking for a legendary/yellow sniper though.

DVL Solid Thunder with 847 damage is my strongest but I use the Long Skullmasher that does 774 damage but has 300% crititcal damage.

In my first playthough, I found a red sniper that had a barrell like the .50 cal's, but i havent came across one like it since then, and im on level 47 of my 2nd playthrough. Can anyone tell me which snipers have those barrels on them? or could possibly spare one thats level req is around 47-50?

last nite a dude joined my game n he gave me a sniper rifle it does 1040 DMg x4 Fire elemental damage with a decent fire rate 0.7

The best I've found did mid 900 damage, can't remember the exact amount but I still have it.
