Buy a flash drive, format it with your 360 and you'll be good to go.

Or, external hard drive.

You are going to have to buy a bigger hard drize size friend. You can transfer memory from your old one over to your new one, but I think you have to buy a special kit to do it.

No special kit required if you buy a storage device that connects via the USB port; all data transfers can be done from the system menu on the 360 if done this way.

Lucky for you. Microsoft now allows you to use any USB memory sticks with the Xbox 360 S console. You can use up to 32GB of UBS thumbstick memory. 2 X 16GB. MS was going to extend this to 64GB. I don't know if they have enabled this. Before you were stuck with buying offical memory units for the original Xbox 360. 64Mb, 256MB and 512MB. Microsoft does sell official Xbox 360 S console USB memory sticks in 16GB format. But you now can use any Thumbdrives now.

Or you can purchase the official Xbox 360 S console HDD. Which is available in 250GB or 320GB. The 320GB comes with a game Preloaded on it. Lego Star Wars 3.

I guessing you are on a budget as it is just easy to buy the 250GB Harddrive for $100.00

USB thumbdrives are very inexpensive and are availbale in many sizes up to 64GB

Finally you can Use an external HDD up to 3TB for Xbox 360 S consoles. You just have to format it to the 32Fat standard for it to operate correctly.

Hard Drive Transfer Kit only needed for Older Xbox Hard Drive to the new slim Hard Drive.

USB flash drives work well. But don't get Sandisk because they have a bad batch right now with write errors. Get PNY or Kingston brand if you can. I am currently using 48GB plus 4 internal that the Xbox came with.

Sandisk drives are cheaply made and I have had problems with them in the xbox360. At best buy they have a 32gb PNY for $13. And a 16gb Kingston for $13. Both PNY and Kingston work better with the xbox360 than sandisk.
