buy the console to play it i dont think knomia will change their mind i have the game and in the game they talk about the ps3 and blu-ray disks so for them to port it they would have to go into the game and change things like the mark 2 contoller that would have to be changed any details they talk about blu-ray and PS which is alot anything at all like that o and when u install the game it says THIS TITLE IS EXCLUSIVETY (i dont know how to spell it)FOR PLAYSTATION 3

no, kojima and konami squashed the rumors over and over and over again, and do you think sony will lose thier biggest exclsuvie to 360? what you mean it will be easy port, they had to compress it just to fit one 1 disc, (blu ray) and rage devloper/publisher said that its not profitable enough to have more then 2 disks.
I just got my first chance to play it yesterday and wow it is such an amazing game. I'm borrowing my friends ps3 and hope to beat it. It would be sweet if it was for the 360 but i doubt it will happen.
There is no way in hell the 360 is gonna get MGS4 for the 360 it would simply cost too much to make it into a 5-6 disc game and it would be a severly watered down version so you would'nt like it as much as the PS3 version.

some people cant afford two consoles, some people are students or under 18 so either have a part time job or nothing and some people think its stupid to buy two consoles one day maybe next gen we wont have to worry because everything should be multiplatform
You cant get the graphics that you can get on ps3. just wont happen. I have had 360 since launch. 3 core and now im on an elite (I love it nice and cool:D), and I have never seen graphics like MGS4,Racthet and clark(I dont like the game just looks nice)and uncharted. I know the topic is will it come out not if it will look the same but you just wont get a true MGS4 to 360. It just cant happen. Dont get me wrong 360 has killer graphics just not the same as ps3. Take my advise and just get more than one system. Im no rich kid I just dont buy anything other than games.
I didn't read the other replies, so I am not sure if this has been said already. MSG4 BARELY fit on a dual layered blu-ray disc. Do you know how MANY discs it would be for the 360? Oh and plus, Konami is already working on new things. They've moved on.

Anyway, I could care less, I got it, beat it. It loses the fun after you beat it, because it has next to zero replayability unless you REALLY REALLY need a rifle that has a 10% (supposedly 33% but yea right) chance of shooting a tornado out, which is useless because after the first shot the enemy is already on top of you and youre too busy reloading for the next shot. Otherwise, meh its just another MGS game, not a bad thing but its nothing new either.

Yes of course it will be released, even within this year. At the same time, microsoft will admit they lost the format wars, send out technicians to every home in the world with an 360 and fit it with blu-ray player, at the same time they will give us all a life supply of beer and pudding, plus xbox live will be made free to all. Even better we will finally find a cure for cancer, AIDS, and colds, my country (Denmark) will be declared a Nuclear superiority, Jack Thompson will start winning his trials against the evil videogame companies, the icecaps will stops melting and all Carbondioxide will quickly vaporize out of our atmosphere. Your completely wrong about that joke being related to the 360, if you where a ture MGS fan you would know that they were referring to the first MGS on PS1. That moment when Otacon radios to switch the disc, was when it had to be done in the first game.

I don't think theres hope for it:( BUT I think that 360 will get like MGS4 : substinance or whatever. since there has always been a remake with more stuff.

thats funny. but if konami wants to make more money they will port. multiconsole is the way to go nowadays with the cost of making the games.
it would cost them more than they would make to port it. They'd have to get the equipment to change it to the 360, put it onto mulit-discs, take out all the ps3 references, and so on and so forth.

It's not coming. It's never coming. Kojima and Konami said it will stay a PS3 exclusive so all of you people forget about this one crushed dream of yours. If you want it so much buy a ****ing PS3. Personaly, I wouldn't buy it considering I've never played a single MGS game and would not know anything about the story except that Snake is after his dead brother whos arm was put one some weird dude. The game would easily fit on 2 DVDs (possibly 1). MGS4 on the PS3 was majorly uncompressed. I wouldn't be surprised if the voice acting and music took up 20gb alone. With compression and a few seconds added into loading time, MGS4 would easily be playable on the 360.
wait, we're still asking this. Do we care, i mean honestly, are we (not me, you) still caring? *shrugs* there's so much good games coming out I don't care what happens with MGS 4. those games were never my cup of tea anyways.
