For the time Mass Effect was one of Biowares worse games, it is still great though. DarkSector is like a bad Resident Evil 4 mixed with a bad Gears of War.
Mass Effect is a great game like everybody mentioned. I found Dark Sector a fun game as well, the single player campaign was interesting as you progressed through with RE4 gameplay mechanics, but you don't have to conserve that much ammo. The multiplayer had some interesting sides as well. The "Infected" mode was rewarding, since it's basically 1 vs all (something new). Basically the "1" is a super infected soldier with the disc-blade and the rest is military trying to take you out, whoever does becomes the infected the next round. not bad...
Mass effect is amazing i loved that game and u can just play it again and again cos bits and peices in the story change depending on decisions u make :D it is really really good Enjoy :D
Mass Effect was an amazing game from start to finish with a lot of memorable moments: one of the best Western RPG's of all time. Dark Sector on the other hand is slightly above average.

Mass Effect is absolutely amazing and Dark Sector is actually pretty fun. People dont like it because its a Gears of War/Resident Evil knock off but for what it is, its awesome.
