ok the cutscenes look pretty cool and the nom music on the commercial was pretty sweet but i find no excitment in pressing a and seeing some dude slash then step back and do this repeativly
Woo, finally a 9.0+ score. I was already going to buy it but this reaffirms my decision. Imo, I think why this game didnt earn higher scores because turn-based RPG is a bit outdated, to say the least. It's kinda difficult for non turn-based RPG fans to really get into it. But if you're a Final Fantasy seasoned veteran, you'll find that you will easily like the game. Dont trust all the websites out there. Websites like Gameradar.com gave all the big hit titles 10's, while they were great, they were still flawed, and deserved 9.0-9.5 at the most. I was snooping around on other websites that had already reviewed LO, and they didnt seem credible. I recommend renting if you're skeptical, but I have every reason to love this game because I'm just a sucker for JRPGs. Lost Odyssey will bring some of us old fans to our turn-based roots.
