looking to get Assassin's Creed

This Christmas I am looking to get Assassin's Creed.But is this the game any good. I have seen the reviews but I still am not convinced. Is this game worth itorshould I get some thing else.

AC is a rent IMO, its just to repetative. Get COD4 or Mass Effect, there much better games.grunt1096

Rent it... it has a good story, great graphicsand the main assassinations are awesome...

but it's repeatitive, combat is simple and there's a cliffhanger ending plus it's very short.

Its a really good game.

your getting it for christmas too, that means you arent spending any money anyway...

hay i got halo 3 so cod4 is out. i really just want a single player game. beat halos story.
