I feel this game is not getting enough attention, and it should be.
Let's hear some thoughts on this potentially epic title.

I kind of am and am kind of not. On one hand, it's one of the most technical fighters out there and now supports online play. On the other hand, the 360's controller has a really really crummy dpad which makes it really difficult to pull off moves in fighting games. If MS ever allows other companies to release a better dpad or arcade stick on the 360, then this game would be a must-have for me. As it stands now though, I'll have to pass.
It's a great game marred heavily by a poorly-designed dpad.

They are releasing an arcade stick for the 360 to go with VF5.
And yes, I'm getting it.. I already have it preordered. It just might be the game that makes get XBL.
It's all about Soul Calibur anyway ;)ThugChaos
Second only to Virtua Fighter and Street Fighter IMO...great game.
Well, it's easy to see you guys don't like fighting games, compare Soul Calibur with VF is absurd... VF is almost a sport and soul calibur is just another game with cool graphics. I have to say I worried about 360's gamepad... I wish I could use my old PS2 control. :)Licurgo
Interestingly enough, I just purchased the XFPS for that exact reason. If I was better with the arcade sticks then I'd use them, but playing with the old dual-analog just feels right to me...:D
I'll have to wait and see. I want a good Arcade stick. I hate Hori sticks and feel there way over priced. I bought my Pelican Arcade stick for the orignal Xbox for 20 bucks and really like it.... Is Pelican even still in business I havent seen any of there stuff for the nex gen.
Only going to be needed Soul Calibur 4 for 360, will try out Virtua Fighter though.JJ_Clicki
Virtua Fighter is the deepest game out there. Soul Calibur is great, but you need to give VF5 a try.
OH MAN...DEFINITELY...:D VF5 is my most anticipated game of the year! I'm excited about it on the same caliber as Halo 3, and GTA 4. I'm going to be unbeatable at that game. My gamer tag is "Mr Money N Bank" if anyone cares to challenge me. I wanted to be the best at Halo 3, but when VF5 is released, The Master Chief might face a little neglect.devjmoore
Nice, I'm not even buying Halo because I won't touch it after this game comes out.
