Looking for games with an appealing story

Man, after having finished Halo 3, Assassins Creed, Mass Effect and just yesterday, COD4, I am wondering about what other Xbox 360 games there are out there with appealing stories!?

I also tried Oblivion, but the story really did not catch me. I don't own the expansion though.

Any suggestions?

I love Gears of War, but COD 4's story is MUCH better than Gears' story.

THere's not a lot of Xbox 360 games with good stories. Pick up a Playstation and some Squaresoft RPGs (the only real good ones). JRPGs are always the best.

Bioshock definitely has a great story.

The Darkness was also pretty good.

Also, The Orange Box (Half-life 2 series). I'm surprised no one has mentioned it yet. Great story. The graphics may feel a bit dated, but the story is over the top. Valve does an excellent job with character development over the course of the series. You developa bond with certain characters that actually drives emotion as you play.

I think that Saints Row was quite good. I think Bioshock has the best story, but still not convincing. Play Mafia, that game has the best story ever

Bioshock, and how the heck do you finish games off so quick? With the exception of cod4, those games you completed aren't very sort.

LOL - I was wondering the same thing. A game that's stated to be a 20 hour game takes me 30 hours since I have to explore everything in the game. It takes me a solid month to log that many hours.
