Lately I've been searching for a good headset to get for the 360, but there are so many options I really don't know where to begin. I am hoping to find something good that isn't too expensive (the most I'd be willing to pay would be around $150), but would still offer great sound quality. Any good recommendations? And if you have a gaming headset, mind giving me your feedback on it? Any responses are appreciated. Thanks.

I bought some Turtle Beach X11's for 70$...well their 50$ now ;).

Pros

Great, sound I could hear the zippers on my fatigues in BF-BC2 while running, not to mention some one trying to sneak up on you.

The ability to change voice and game volume independently (huge plus because I love a little background music)

Cons

Wires, tho could be a plus if you want to sit further away from your TV.

I have the Turtle Beach x41s and the 7.1 surround sound and sound quality are top notch. The only negatives are the price ($159.99) and the fact that I have to keep rechargeable batteries handy because unlike the older $99 set I have the battery dies with no warning.

Thanks for the recommendations guys, I think I'm probably going to end up get some version of the Turtle Beaches. I heard a new version, the X12s, will be coming out soon so I might check those out.

Meh their the same price and one's not even out yet. On their sight they just copy and pasted most of the info . I guess if you have a black 360 they would match better :p.

I don't care about the matching color, but yeah, I guess if I can get the X11s for a cheaper price I may as well. Dang I wish I had the money for those Astro A40s. :P

I use the Turtle Beaches X11's. They're very good for only around $60. They are wired, but since they are wired the also work for PC. But if you hate wires, and don't need them for PC, get the x31's. I think they are around $80, but they are wireless.
