Lame Reasons For Being Booted.....

I was playing Gears of War last night and just happened to be doing pretty well that round. I had around 8 kills, while the others on both teams had 1 or 2. Next thing I know, I was booted out for playing good. Anyone else been booted for this or any other dumb reasons? To avoid other people's crap, I just host my own matches now.

Thats the way people are dude they start losing so they kill the winner(in your case boot)...its happened to me to thats why i play ranked matches..more competitive and i think its funner sometimes.

its prolly the one thing they have control over in their life... let them have the glory of booting u!... i could care less about being booted...it only gets annoying if im searching for games for a half hour then its just like...wtf...but its bad when u hear some host say "oh man dont talk back to me ill boot your a$$" most of the time its to other people since i rarely find any room actually making any sense... but if i hear something like that i just switch rooms...its embarassing listening to how some people talk... i mean if ur young...good u have an excuse...but ur cutting it close if ur 20+ and talking trash on a system..i mean if ur gonna talk trash..please..do it well

I got booted today for a really lame reason. We were playing on escalation and we were coming down and so i hid in a corner and waited for somebody to come up. So the Host goes underone of the awenings and trys to snipe on of my teamates. So i went up next to him and killed him with the shotgun.

So after the match he goes "Vendetta your queer (then in an annoying mimicky voice he said) "i'm just hide here and wait for somebody to come up, then i'm gonn shot them". Then he booted me.

How is that in anyway cheap or annoying? I ambushed him and he was stupid enough to fall for it.

It's just some people can't stand losing.

I play Vegas, and I get booted (or used to, i don't as much anymore i dunno why) for the LAMEST reasons.

1. got booted for having red camo and "no one else has it so you're gay is what the host said

2. For getting over forty kills in a game (not glitching either, and that's really not that hard if you're decent)

3. For being American

Back when I played Gears, if I joined a friendly fire room and ended up killing the guys on my team who were trying to kill me, I got insta-booted.Trickshot771

One guy was doing that to me in Halo 2 and I ended up killing him for it and he thought it was funny that I got so mad for my teammate shooting me. People are idiots. Granted he couldn't boot me but that's why I don't play gears MP much because the host can do whatever the hell he wants.

Yeah, I've had that before. It's bull, because I got the package on the roof on an A&D match.
