Bought a 42" 1080p Westinghouse for $1195.00 with no tax or delivery fee from Buydigg.com. Best deal I've seen for any HDTV of that size in the last 6 months of looking.

You don't have to buy the speakers. There's another way, this is what I use.

The grey splitter is called an AV splitter or something I forget, anyway, it splits the red and yellow cables there into stereo, which goes into a stereo splitter (the black one), and my speaker is plugged into that (the green plug). Those splitters cost maybe like $4 each, and it plays right out of my old computer speakers just fine.

Once you get into HDTVs you actually do get what you pay for. I first started on Vizios then upgraded toSharp Aquos then Sony Bravias. A blind monkey can even see the differences in quality(image, color, brightness, blacks, response time=motion blurs). And invest in LCD technology. I got rid of all my DLPs and a plasma tv.

$2600 for a 65' Projection Mitsubishi 1080p widescreenHDTV with 0% financing for 36 months. But it was from Best Buy and a deal I just couldnt pass up. (Also $330 instant rebate). Best TV i've ever had in terms of sharpness, and size. I love it

Also in my opinion it looked better than alot of the smaller LCD and flat panels at the same price. And its alot bigger than them

22 inches for the win! Mines also a Samsung. I'm too lazy to remember or look for the model number. Its the one that has the circlular power button in the middle, kinda looks like an imac. I paid something like 399 (Canadian) on sale at Futureshop.

Samsungs are my fave, it is in my opinion the best quality for the price on the market. Its funny, I saw someone post that Samsungs are overpriced but they were raving about Sony who charges twice as much as any other manufacturer. Also, when Microsoft displays their games at trade shows such as E3 and CES, they display them on Samsungs in 720p.

just upgraded the main room TV so I'm running a 8th gen Pioneer, looks gorgeous, for around $2600. (they were released about 3 weeks ago). LCD is good for gaming but for home theater and sports, plasma is king.

True. But i knew buying the tv that down the road at some point it would drop but all i cared about at that time was a good looking tv. Just like how i know my 1300 quad core qx6700 in my new computer will drastically drop in price lol. Funny thing with the cpu though is the week after i bought mine intel released the next limited model lol
